Ing. Jan Prokš, Ph.D. has been the Director of the Czech and Moravian Electrical and Electronic Association since 1 January 2013, but he has been working for the association since 2006.
Jan Prokš is the HORIZON 2020 delegate of the Czech Republic in the „Secure, clean and efficient energy“ sector, he is a member of the committee of the Czech Accreditation Institute and an expert witness appointed by the court in the field of power engineering, electronics, cybernetics and economics (assessments and pricing). Furthermore, he is a member of the Trade Fair Committee of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, an opponent of the VAV ALFA (TACR) and TIP (Ministry of Industry and Trade) programmes, a member of the Committee of the “Centers of Competence” programme of TACR and a member of the cohesion funds expert team for 2014-2020.
Formerly, he was a manager of courses within European Social Fund projects (2005-2007) and the manager of the project “Through education towards increased adaptability and competitiveness” (2009-2012).
Alena Vitásková
Chairwoman of the Energy Regulatory Office
Alena Vitásková is the Chairwoman of the Energy Regulatory Office since 1 August 2011. She has worked on executive positions in gas and power industry significant part of her career. Alena Vitásková worked in the position of Vice-Chairwoman and CEO in Severomoravská plynárenská, in the position of Chairwoman and CEO at RWE Transgas and she served as Chairwoman of Pražská teplárenská. She also served as President of Klub plynárenských podnikatelů ČR [Czech Club of Gas Businesses].
She has held several honorary positions such as Vice-Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the Hrabyně Rehabilitation Institute. She chaired the Supervisory Board of Nadační fond manželů Livie a Václava Klausových [Livia and Václav Klaus Foundation] and served on the Board of Trustees of the Prague Spring International Music Festival.
In 2002, she won the title of the Manageress of the Year.
Ing. Marcela Juračková
Director of the Inspection Department of the State Energy Inspection
Ing. Marcela Juračková has been the director of the Inspection Department of the State Energy Inspection since March 2015.
Before that, she was the head of the energy saving department within the power engineering division of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. She was also active in supporting renewable resources of energy, namely she took part in the introduction of new legislation related to the fields of power engineering, implementation of EU regulations and international projects.
